Has anyone encrypted the Transformer (3.1)?

I tried using the tablet encryption mechanism last night on my eee Pad Transformer. The battery was fully charged and the tablet was plugged in to a wall socket. The encrypt screen asked for a new PIN/password and then showed a full screen image of the android robot (wireframe, sort of an offset-sprocket design around his waist). Knowing that tablet encryption can take a while I left the tablet alone and went to do other things. About 2 hours later it was still showing the same screen, although the new mail notification had popped up in the status bar. I went to bed. When I woke up this morning (7-8 hrs later) nothing had changed. Taking a risk I power cycled my tablet. I was not asked for the new PIN on startup and the tablet was functioning normally. As far as I can tell the encryption system did nothing.

Has anyone successfully encrypted a Honeycomb tablet?
