Has anyone had compatibility issues with samsung s8 and plantronics legend

I upgrade from samsung s5 to s8 and have a platronics legend ear bud.
My ear bud worked fine with the s5 and works with my iPhone I use for work.
It intermittently cuts in and out when I listen audio books or with GPS.
Is this a samsung s8 issues or is the samsung s8 not compatible with plantronics products?

Wi-fi can sometimes interfere with Bluetooth if you're using the 2.4 GHz frequency. Does this happen if you turn off wi-fi temporarily?
