Has Anyones Battery Life Changed Recently?

I have gone from having pretty much a day and a half of battery to a 11 hour battery.

Anyone else experiencing a sudden change?

yes when I first got it I remember my battery life beaing really good when the phone was calculating my usage now it's really just average at best I have a battery pack tho so I don't mind but it could be better

Yeah it feels like my phone has turned into my s7 edge which a knackered battery.

Did Samsung program it to last longer at first then after a month of use go bad?

So far my battery life is the same. But Ive been very disciplined about installing apps. Before something goes on my N8 I install it on my old N4 to A) see if I want or need the app and B) to see how much resources it uses , ram, battery etc.

In general Ive found any social media app or browser + wifi = faster battery drain. Not as much when using network data. I get about 3 days on a full charge.

I've noticed it, my battery life has never been as good as yours, but it was good for me and now it's noticeably worse. I was getting a full day with 6-7 hours sot, and the last two days for sure I've only gotten 3-4 hours sot having to charge by 6pm. I installed a few random apps some days ago and I uninstalled them to see if that helps.

This seems a little worrying. Mine is due to arrive tomorrow, but the fact that this is apparently hitting multiple users is concerning!

Mine has gotten better. According to Gsam I'm running about 20 hours average with over 5 hours of screen time. Actually I can't believe I spend that much time with screen on but that's what the app says. I only install the apps I need and try not to install anything new but games.

Yelp Samsung fixed the batteries to get worse after a month. Yelp.......

I've had mine for 6 weeks now and it's about the same as when I got it. Some days great, some days could be better. All depends on how I use it. Some days I use it more than others. Hell of a lot better than my note 5 and that battery didn't start dropping til about 3 or 4 months or so before I got the note8 and I've had the note 5 since it came out.

I see a bit more power drain but I'm away in spain roaming and have hotspot on a lot to allow my mate use my mobile data lte/4g so I guess that accounts for a good bit, still 5 hour sot so not worried

Isn't this normal though? He more crap you throw at it along with age it's going to take a hit over time.

No difference on mine after a month as of today. If anything, it seems better now.

I don't know if it's in my head but I actually think my battery life is better, I can regularly come home from work with 90%+ battery life and go to bed with over 75%
I'm obviously not a heavy user but I find the battery great.

mine has improved and now going two days on a charge.
