On the serious side - for kicks I called into customer service - got a very friendly rep who said to me that he has taken about 25 calls that day asking the same question. Apparently, this release is a lot more popular than I originally thought. Of course he didn't know a date and said that they tell the CSR's at the last minute.

People are way underestimating the popularity and anticipation of this device. It's not just Android geeks that are wanting it. One of the local corp store reps that I know real well told me that she hasn't been moving any Rezounds and barely any RAZR's because everyone is asking for the Nexus and she gets bombarded with customers looking for it.

Where is that list of Verizon execs emails? I want to email this link to all of them.

Being able to tell what will sell is a talent few have. Steve Jobs had it, and that is why he turned apple it to what it is. I hate the products myself, but he knew what would sell to "most" people. I dont think verizon is quite as good at it.
