Shame on you HTC
i too was waiting for the update, but honestly, i didn't have any problems with 5.02 ,cheersYeah I'm sick and fed up of these big corporations lying to us. First Google said that Lollipop will bring better battery life. Lollipop gets released and that drains battery quicker.
Then HTC says that they will have 5.1 released in August just gone, another lie. 5.1 should sort out battery issues and other bugs. So we're left with a buggy m8 while every other company is upgrading their phones to 5.1 and above. So we're left with an amazing phone with buggy software.
Thank you google
Thank you HTC.
I can't stop the hate. I'm turning to the darkside
Useless phone??!! Man what are you guys doing to your phones?? I have been running unfettered on 5.0.2 and Sense 6 since they were released. I have no problems, it runs smooth and fast, and I can sometimes get 2-1/2 full days on a single charge. I don't play alot of games but I am on the phone a fair amount during the day, alot on the weekends, emails coming in constantly, heavy texting, and my granddaughter sometimes watches Netflix on it. My battery has never been under 20% at the end of the day. I know HTC stated that they would have a 90 day max window for upgrades but if your phone is performing as advertised what the hell is the problem? That's why I ask what you are doing with your phone......to find out what the differences are between your expectations and mine. If you want to get another phone then by all means go get one but, based on some of the posts I see here, there is no way any phone will satisfy the whims of some of you.
My thoughts exactlyHTC has kinda left me dissapointed with the long awaited update to 5.1.1 which could've potentially fixed my battery life issue... Plus, the upcoming HTC A9 looks like a desperate move by HTC since i regarded them as those who really knew how to design phones starting from the m7 to the m8, from there onwards everything went kinda downhill with the M9.Performance wise, I wouldnt know, but I'm guessing its snappy as Sense UI isn't filled with bloat. Guess I'll just have to wait again and see if the Android 6.0 update will solve my issues with the new implementation of doze from google...not letting my hopes high tho cause i remembered project VOLTA was supposed to increase our battery life and it didnt really did it for me at the very least....If it does worsen then I'd move on to A Nexus device
