Now that I've drawn you in....ha ha ha...maybe a muhahaha is in order...

Anyway, has your Note 4 ever hiccupped so hard that it froze an app on the main screen, in my case an open Facebook Messenger chat head, and still worked in the background, in my case again, I tried to power it off and the power off menu was behind the chat head?

I didn't manage to get it powered off (must not be that smart yet), but I put the phone to sleep and when I unlocked it again the messenger head was completely closed.

What the heck just happened????

Facebook's app and Flipboard's app both can hang the phone due to a memory leak issue with lollipop and how those apps react to it.
Currently the workaround for Facebook is to go to Facebook through your browser.

Never had that happen using Facebook but I had similar situation when I tried recording a video once - the whole phone froze and I couldn't get to the power menu - even holding the power button wouldn't turn off the phone. I had to remove the battery for a few seconds to reboot.
