I officially hate VZW. I bought my wife D2. Had it for 30 days. The screen developed a line up and down on the right side. Waited 50 minutes for a lazy tech to wait on me. I was expecting them to replace the phone or screen. They say there is a crack under the screen, and the warranty won't cover it. Ridiculous. How does a phone less than 30 days old get a "tiny" crack? My wife barely uses it! Sits on a counter half the day. Their solution? Buy the insurance since 30 days isn't up and make a claim that will still cost me $90 for something they should replace that is defective. no way a screen gets a "tiny" crack under the screen with that little use.

vzw is really pissing me off with their messing with android with the bing crap and what not i thought vzw was going to really embrace android for everything it is.

I too hate Motorola phones on Verizon. I went through over a half dozen of them, and like I've said before, the people in the retail store nearest me were always extremely rude, condescending, and complete jerks, basically. Talked to me like I was 5 and had no idea how to properly take care of a call phone, when every single time I had a phone break on me it was a HARDWARE failure that they admitted wasn't my fault.

After my 7th Motorola, I got the Samsung Fascinate. It's already outlived probably 3 or 4 of my 7 Droids.

This line you're taking about, is it parallel with the casing on the phone?
Meaning it's a straight line from top to bottom?
Or does it zig zag a little bit?

Also, is there any bleeding color from the edges of this line?

Had my Droid 1 eight months. Zero issues. Droid 2 for 1 month so far, zero issues - besides the software quirks with the media gallery, and the battery manager giving WiFi a hard time reconnecting after waking the phone up every now and then.

Nothing I would return my phone over. Maybe I'm just super lucky.

I hate Dodge and Geico. I got a scratch on my car at the store and Dodge won't replace my car and Geico wants to charge me to have it repainted when it was not my fault. WAAAAAAAHHHH PISS AND MOAN!

The lines go top to bottom. At the very bottom, there is a small little line at a diagonal from bottom to right side. The vertical line start at this spot. It only takes about a 3 mm away from the right side of the screen, bit real irritating that a phone 30 days old has no quality. I have abused my Dinc, multiple drops, constantly dropping it, but still in tip top shape. Have used a protective HARD case on the D2 from day 1, only a soft silicone case on Dinc. I HATE MOTO. if it is a "pressure crack", I don't understand why they can't fix it. The phone is not abused, has been very well cared for and the lcd develops what they call a pressure crack? I'm sorry, but thats just low build quality.

Not analogous at all. Move along.

Now the entire screen has turned a shade of green? I'm sure VZW will find a way not to fix it. Cheap piece of crap. Save the aggravation and get an incredible people. Stay away from MOTO.

Yeah, because there are zero complaints about the Incredible in the forums.
