Have a quick question/ issue.

So just got my Xperia z3v yesterday.

When I go to listen to music it plays fine, but if I want to use headphones it plays through the headphones for a few seconds, then the phone kicks the sound to the speakers on the phone.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Im thinking I got a dud for a phone, may have to bring it back to Verizon.

Have you tried going into settings>apps scrolling down to your music player app and clearing the cache?

Try different headphones. Are you using a case? Sometimes the case doesn't allow the jack to be inserted all the way making it switch from headphones to speakers.
