I have no desire to snag the Turbo because it's so dang ugly and it's not waterproof like our Z3vs.

I thought about the Turbo because I had a 2014 Moto X before my Z3v, and liked it pretty good. But then I realized that it Love my Z3v, and that the only thing I sorta miss about the Moto is the active notifications. I just wish that the Sony was getting more support (cases etc).

I ordered the incipio case so we will see how that is. I've been running mine naked for the past week though.

Wouldn't you be able to use cases that were made for the Z2 since the Z3v uses the same body as the Z2?

Nope. The Z3v is slightly taller and thicker than the Z2. Since it's a unique variant for Verizon, case selection is going to remain fairly limited.
