Strange, my Nexus 4 downloaded the 4.3 jellybean update again today. Installed but nothing seems different....

it's just a security patch to 4.3

Will this patch remove root? I'm on rooted stock 4.3 & TWRP.

Pretty sure that any system update (which this is) will remove root.

its a security/bug/performance fix update. you wont notice a lot of difference

Can someone check what their build number says after the 1.8 mb update??
mine still says JWR66V but i am sure the update is applied.

going to settings-->Apps-->menu-->Reset App preference show the new app permission reset Text.

Got the second 4.3 update (security patch) 2 days ago, on my Nexus 4. Since then my wi-fi has been turning off, and will NOT turn back on even from settings. I have to turn the phone off and back on again to make it connect. Anyone else have wifi issues after the second 4.3 update?

I noticed after the 2nd 4.3 update, the area next to the camera and above the Nexus logo runs noticeably warmer than usual but the temp readings seem to be within a safe range...but then again it could just be in my head or a newly installed app could be the culprit

Do you mean ota rootkeeper? It is still broken on 4.3 so no it does not...
