Have you installed Android 11 on your Pixel phone?

Well that's always nice to know. I mean as long as all the core functionalities are fine. I'll be installing the betas on my phone no developer previews for me. I pray that God it doesn't break Android Auto like it did for me and Android 10.. that was fun... Not.... Lol

Installed it last night, after pretty heavy usage today my only issue is some apps lock out being able to edit or close them with the swipe up feature, lock and unlock my phone and it works again, all in all it's been smooth on all apps and Andriod auto, love the new notification seperation, good so far!

Yep yep installed Android 11 on my Pixel 3 XL the day came out of course! Has anyone else had issues with Google Assistant activation or the Google hotword on their phones at all though?

Downloaded and running without any issues. However, it seems to take longer to reboot. Has any experienced this?

I'm contemplating installing beta 3 on my Pixel 4. As soon as the final release is there though, I'd like to unenrol for the beta programme. Can I do this without having to wipe my phone?

I'm confused because on the page it says "you may remain on the beta programme beyond the initial Android 11 release", but it also says that if you leave the programme you'll need to wipe your device.

I'm running Android 11 beta 3 on my Pixel 3 XL. Compared to Android 10 beta program 11 is much more reliable. A few glitches here and there but they're not horrible!

You don't need to leave the Beta program after Google moves 11 out of Beta. They'll simply discontinue the program and unenroll everyone.

Yep yep absolutely correct, once you've enrolled in the beta program and you don't uninroll during the beta program, once Android 11 becomes official no need to wipe your phone you'll automatically leave the beta program and get the official release of the software!

Is Android Auto still working?

Android Auto is still working, however, whenever you say a Google Assistant command, right afterwards, you have to hit the source button in your car and click the Android Auto option in order for the audio to continue. It's one of the more annoying issues from the beta program. I'm praying to God that when Android 11 goes live, that issue is fixed!

Just got my 4a last week, got Android 11 this week. Kind of cool, I've never been this close to the bleeding edge with Android before. My OP 6T was better than most of my other experiences, but I've usually been either stuck on an obscure carrier or with an obscure device.

Updated my 3XL to Android 11 yesterday. Having an issue producing a correct Panorama image with the Android 11 camera. Neither standard panorama or photosphere works correctly. I started a thread over in the 3XL forum in the event it is Pixel 3 specific.

Wish I could easily roll back to 10 on my Pixel 2. Updated to 11 yesterday and all seemed okay but today it has randomly restarted about 40 times and is going through the battery much faster than normal...I assume from all the restarts. I'm going to try it tomorrow in safe mode to see if it's an app that isn't playing nicely with 11. Hopefully I can hang on until the Pixel 5 comes out.
