Have you received the OTA (not manual) ICS update recently?

Just got the update couple of minutes ago. Still updating. Don't know if I will have any issue with ICS though. Well... At least I will have the ICS on my phone... It's been too long...

I got my update and it messed up my cell petty bad.
Started out by getting a message saying charging paused due to
Power overload . But it was not on a charger. So I took it in to
Sprint. The rep. Was cool, said the update locked up my phone
They couldn't get it to power back up for over an hour so, they
Gave me a new one off the the floor without the update.

I just received the update notification about five minutes ago, so clearly it hasn't been cancelled. I am debating whether to update or not because of all of the battery life and wifi issues that I have been reading about.

I've attached the update notification screen...

They are pushing the upgrade. So clearly, if you would read the posts in this forum you would see that. As you can see here, it says REPUSHED. Which means it got cancelled but is getting pushed again.

This is all correct. The kernel and information from the first round of updates is EXACTLY the same as this second wave of updates. This means that if you have ICS installed manually or OTA with the first update, you will not receive the second update. There are no changes or differences between the two.

Although there are plenty of bugs in this update, Samsung usually pushes updates to phones, gathers data quickly, then (usually) pushes out a small update not too far after fixing bugs and stability issues. I hope this is helpful for someone.

YES...got my ics update a couple of hours ago and I love everything about it...

Hmm! still no update here beginning to wonder if I will, I got the last GB update the first day of rollout I guess I will have to be a bit more patient and wait this time I will keep checking all the post to see how it's going good or bad.

I got the update on friday. I went ahead and updated and it failed.I got the triangle with exclamation point in the middle. I haven't received notification since then. Not sure what happened.

I just received the update and like an idiot actually did it. I've had so many problems on ICS with this phone if it doesn't work proper now its gingerbread for life.
Immediately my battery went from 50% to 20%... I'll give it a few days but I've really loved not having to use 3+ batteries a day. Here's to hoping I guess.

Still Nothing... I keep checking my phone like a freaking idiot. I just want to get it, try it out, and hopefully be happy with it.

My wife got the update to ics this morning! I'm running CM9. Battery life has been crap. But that's too be expected with any "new" "ROM" She's loving it other than that. Says it really snappy and quick in switching screens. We'll see how this all goes!

I keep getting the notice to update even after I went back to GB....annoying as hell but I'll wait longer until I know ICS bugs are all worked out....Did the update a few weeks ago and it caused so many problems that I had Sprint Store flash my ph back to GB!

I did the manual but I keep hearing Sprint sent out a fix OTA, and I've read people have gotten it, but I've also read it wont be pushed if you're on FF18 already... (huh?!)

Can anyone clear that one up?

Also, my girl finally got the OTA, hates the new swype keyboard. :P

My phone updated this morning. The update went very smoothly, when completed it then automatically updated applications. There are a few graphic differences, but I don't see much difference. The voice-mail app does look different, the top bar is slightly larger, but other than that looks the same.

I have done nothing special with the phone, no rooting or installation of developer apps. Just plain Jane and maybe I am glad for once I didn't given the problems I am reading from some. Although, I find sometimes these problems are self induced.

I live in Jacksonville Beach, FL.

Will review battery usage and report back.

After the update early yesterday i left the phone off the charger for 9 hours. Only lost 10 percent. So far so good.
This morning with minimal usage for emails and a few texts after 3 hours I'm at 88 percent remaining, not the best but definitely not the worst. This might just be a keeper.

I received the OTA update yesterday (Sunday) morning, accepted it and it installed seamlessly. Have been working with all my apps for any probs and have not found any yet.

Battery life? Seems to be very good so far, but then again I am using JuiceDefender Plus so this is not a good indication of true battery life.

I like the new interface - smooth, and some logical changes to locations of icons in some of the apps.
