Having hard time connecting Bluetooth GPS receiver with CM7

I have an old bluetooth GPS receiver I was using it with my laptop and PDA. Since I'm running CM7 RC and bluetooth is on so I was trying to make a nice big screen GPS system but I'm having nothing but problem.

NC sees my old bluetooth GPS receiver but when I try to pair them I'm getting "Paired but not connected". Rebooted few times and pair them again but just getting the same messages. Am I missing something here? Anyone tried same and was able to get it to work? Am I trying something which is not possible??

Download a free app from the market called 'Bluetooth GPS'. Start this first and connect to your paired GPS device. Once this is running and connected, you should be able to use just about any program that uses GPS data.

Another thanks to adcjunkman. I finally found a use for an old OnCourse BT-339 that I had laying around! I just paired it with my nook and it works perfectly using Bluetooth GPS. Still not a replacement for the Garmin (neither is a phone with GPS), but still another fun toy to play with.

I've tried pairing my nook to my phone and I am getting the same "paired but not connected". Ive rebooted several times but no change. Is there anything in the market that would correct this? I see Bluetooth GPS was mentioned but I assume it only corrects GPS connection problems. Thanks
