Having issues with the screen. The phone when it's in standby with the screen off. It blinks to the lock screen. Then goes back to a blank screen. The 10-15 seconds later the lock screen blinks again. It stays on for like 2-3 seconds. Phone will do this all day. Removed apps, restarted phone. This is the second phone with the same issue. It's the gold s7 active.

My Galaxy S6 was doing this until I force stopped the Peel smart remote. However, i don't think the S7 has this App since it doesn't have an IR blaster. Maybe another app that came pre-installed.

Second phone with same issue...what is up with that. Sorry to hear. You going to try a 3rd phone?

Yeah we are currently on vacation at the moment our 14th day for her phone sat. It's really driving me nuts. It blinks on ever 10 to 15 secs. All day and night. Like a notification led.

Well now my phone is damaged now. This whole water resistant thing is a joke. I actually submerged mine for 5 mins yesterday now cameras are screwed up as well as my screen. Phone still works though. So still tough.

People had same issues with S6A. That's why I never submerge my S6A. I'll splash it a tad bit but that's about it.

I was at a water park yesterday and fully submerged my phone many times. Zero issues.

When then you got lucky first day for was fine as well. Second day not so lucky
I'm not sure if your reply was to me but after being on vacation all week at a water park and submerging it many times in multiple circumstances all is good.

Im saying after the second day at the water park for me mine died. Well it still worked somewhat it was just full of water on the inside. I never got it in more than a foot of water.

That's very surprising! Where did you get it from? Were you able to get it fixed or replaced?

Its being shipped to samusung at the moment to see if the warranty was void or defective. ATT wouldn't replace it do to the water indicator being triggered. I purchased it the day after they came out.

I got it from att in wilm De.

Good luck. Keep us posted

I cannot PM you. If you are within 30 days of purchase, and purchased it with a credit card, there is a good chance your credit card offers a payment refutation service, sort of like an ombudsman, where you can refute the charge based on grounds of false advertising or a faulty unit, and your CC card company will fight it out for you.

Some CC's offer longer periods, some shorter. its worth looking into, however, and has saved me big bucks a few times.
