Having issues with GB Leak and cant sbf back to .340 need help please.

I power the phone down and hook it up to my pc via the usb cable and the phone automatically just powers back up before i can even try to put it into bootloader mode. Any ideas as what to do next?

Do the button sequence before plugging the phone in

Ok new issue now. Just when I thought i had all the appropiate drivers i get this message. Data interface ... no driver found, diag interface ... no driver, tcmd interface ... no driver, mux interface ... no driver. Any ideas as to what drivers they are referring to and where i can find them.

*** NVM this only occurs if i plug the phone in while holding the camera button. ****

but its not showing on rsd lite on pc.

Did some more searching to no avail, im stumped. Dont know what else to do at this point. Still open to any and all suggestions. Once I again I really appreciate the feedback I have received thus far. You all have been really great.

Yeah no luck there either unfortunately. I dont get it. I can do anything but sbf this friggin thing. Im at my wits end on what to do. Is it possible to push the super user files to the system/bin/su folder via adb just to get the super user files on the phone?

If it were me, I would try from a different PC. Run as Admin. If I couldn't do that, I would re install everything then try again. What a pain huh? This seems to happen to others, so I am sure you will get it.

Make sure you run RSD as the administrator, I just went through this. Right click on the RSD logo and then its in one of the options(sorry I dont remember which one-I'm on my Mac right now so I cant check.)

Right click logo, go to properties, then compatability, then down at the bottom-make sure "run this program as administrator" is checked.

Just an update to see if anyone else had found a solution. Still no luck here. Anyways thanks to everyone for the help so far. I haven't given up yet just been really really busy.

Any luck yet?

I haven't run across an issue similar to yours yet, but I did have issues with the GB leak on my X. I, too am running an X64 based machine (Vista. I know, shut up. ;)). After bricking my phone (by trying to flash a nandroid backup over the GB leak -d'oh!), I decided to SBF and start over. I had to SBF 4 times before it fully took. All I can suggest it keep trying. And say nice things to it, it might help.

Finally got phone to show up in RSD but now i get this when flashing the SBF.

Bootloader
30.04
Err:A5,70,39,00,27

Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB

Doesnt seem to be taking from what I can tell. Any suggestions?

Also cant seem to get the phone past the bootloader screen any longer. Still flashing over and over hoping it takes or until someone has a better idea.

Ok new error now.

Bootloader
30.04
Err:A5,70,70,00,1F

MEM_MAP Blank
Service Req'd
Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB

Any ideas?

With GB you needed to hold the up and down button and power to enter bootloader, the setup is different than Froyo... Can you get into stock recovery but holding Home and Power and format from this menu and then pull the battery and attempt sbf again.

Another thing are you using the full SBF or the system one, also make sure you are not using the zip made to be installed from Bootstrap.

Ok, try a different USB port. Use one on the back of PC directly off the mother board.

About 434 mb.....that number is from memory, but the full is around that. The system only is 2 hundred and thirty something I think. Check MDW for the original leak of the full sbf, exacts should be close.
