Having micro sd card problems

I have a samsung tab 3 8.0 and when I try to put my lexar 16gb micro sd in the micro sd card slot it wont go in. It would just pop right back up

I have found that a pair of tweezes or a toothpick helps if you have big hands (like me) to get it in that little extra bit that it needs to click in place. It's either that or something is physically defective. Good luck!
