having problems connecting my phone to my pc

Correct. I see no way to get into clockwork. I imagine there would be some kind of blaringly obvious icon that I haven't seen yet. I have both a mac and a PC, I just rooted my phone using a mac. I can easily get to a PC (It's like 20 feet from me right now). The PC I use at my house is a Windows XP, the PC I use at my dorm is Windows 7 Home Premium, and my mac is the 2010 Macbook Pro 15 inch, running snow leopard. I'm at my house currently and only have access to the Windows XP computer. My windows 7 computer is about a half hour away at my dorm.

i broke down and bought a new usb cable, and it works fine now. my old cable works fine on my wifes phone but not on mine. i am sorry for yalls lost time on such a simple fix, but thanks alot. i got super clean 2.8 flashed and now am trying to reinstall all my apps. thanks alot, seems like alot of great people with great help here.

I realize this is a pretty old thread but I think I have the answer for you. After you install the Samsung USB driver and plug in the phone, you need to go into notifcations, find the notification for the usb connection, and press "mount".
