AC Question
Have been using my Chromecast from my android phone and laptop for at least a year. Last week I get the "no devices available" from the laptop but still working from my phone. Unable to figure out the issue after 2 days the device then disappears from my android as well.
My Chromecast and all other devices are on the same 2.4 ghz network, same SSID
fixes I've tried:
- disable VPN drivers (there weren't any)
- factory reset chromecast.
- try another chromecast
- disable AP Isolation, which isn't a function on my router.
My temporary fix:
Enabling Guest Mode on my Hitron router makes the chromecast discoverable for a couple hours. Then I have to disable it to get another couple hours, then enable again.... back and forth every few hours.
Is there something I'm missing? Any idea what my issue is and how I fix it permanently? Have been using a Chromecast for ages, no idea why I'm suddenly having so many issues.
Thanks
