Having Trouble Getting the Urbane to Charge

When I go to put my Urbane on the charger I need to fiddle with it for a few minutes so that it actually charges. It's a pain in the butt to get it to sit exactly in the sweet spot. I had the same issue with my old original LG Watch. Any suggestions?

Make sure the watch seats firmly on the charger. I have my charger mounted on a stand, so that the watch band does not interfere and prevent the watch from seating firmly.

That is the fiddling I mentioned. It's getting to get the watch to sit where it needs to. What kind of stand do you use?

A homemake one. Got a cheap wooden furniture leg rug protector that was the exact size to place the charger into, cut the protector down for where the cord attaches to the charger, and mounted that onto a hangman like wooden post.
