Having trouble lending books (rooted)

Rooted wife's nook, somewhat against her wishes. Having trouble adding a contact for sharing. The contact is already a gmail contact. A couple other people, who are Google contacts, have just showed up for sharing. She is blaming it on rooting and getting mad at me.

The only thing I can think of, is to unroot and see if it works then.

Edit: Maybe the contact has to have that address registered to their nook? Maybe they don't and the B&N software isn't finding that address as one that is lendable because there is no nook registered to it?

Yeah they are trying to add on the other end. I was going to try to unroot.

Please keep us updated. I was about to finally root the wife's NC, but she lends and gets lent books all the time. If this breaks that ability, she will never agree to let me do it.

Restored to factory. Did not make it work. Apparently not a rooting problem.
