having trouble unlocking rezound

ok working off of htc's site, i go through all the steps installing the needed software and when i get to discovering the token i get nothing it just stays in waiting for device in the command prompt window.

C:\Andriod>fastboot oem get_identifier_token
< waiting for device >

just sit there and does nothing any ideas, am i missing something?

oh and the OTA update installed automatically for me so i have that, if that is interfering.........

Is the phone in charge only mode? USB debugging turned on (on the phone)? HTC Sync not running(On your PC)? Those will all stop this from working properly. If all of the above are true, then try unplugging the phone(from the computer) and plugging it back in. Finally check that it's shown in your device manager as and HTC ADB(or USB) Device.

yes charge only, usb debugging and sync off
it shows up on my device manager as Android 1.0 though with no driver (thought this was because its in hboot.
so maybe its a driver/permissions issue, trying it on another computer.

ok that was it a driver didnt install, i got it unlocked, now to rooting....
