I bit the bullet and created the FB account (am I going to fall into the FB abyss now?). Samsung FB support quickly resolved the issue and sent me my code. I am finding that many news sites require a FB account for commenting and can use it for other apps (Bandsintown, Spotify) that require a FB login, so I guess I can hang on to it as a utility. As glad as I am that Samsung quickly resolved the issue via FB support, I am equally frustrated and mystified at the abysmal FAIL of the more traditional support portals (phone and email) at Samsung. What makes the Samsung Support FB portal so responsive and the Samsung traditional support so dysfunctional?
