Those familiar with my phone being a pre-release can dis-regard that as it was exchanged yesterday for another. No more silent call issues.
But to the HBO go topic...
Whenever I attempt to watch anything it typically begins fine. Then I get the dreaded "audio only stream" due to bandwidth within 1-2 minutes. I could have 4g with decent speed test results and no hints of flipping to 3g all day. But once I start streaming anything from HBO I eventually switch to 3G. If I do any speed tests on the connection I get toggled to I'm seeing .06 Mbps!
According to the online 4G coverage map I'm nowhere near any 3g only zones so nothing fringe here...
I have also tested the HDMI out with HBO go. The movie quality on the phone looks great but once on a big screen there's tons of easily visible pixelation. It's not even watchable through the HDMI out.
