HBOGO not working on LGG2

Just downloaded new update for hbogo+maxgo now works great on my nexus 7 (2013) But for some reason all I get on my lgg2 is black screen the program loads correctly I get sound -well everything works except picture ,screen remains black.
I have tried uninstalling/reinstall deleted data/cashe. I don't know what else to do except maybe a full phone reset and see if that would work??
I thought maybe some of you guys with more knowledge would have a suggestion
Also wanted to say the lgg2 is the best android phone I have ever used and I have had most high end Androids.the screen is oh my gosh hands down for me the greatest.

Sorry to hear, that is weird works great on mine, at least HBO, no lag nothing, I was really impressed!

Not working on mine either bit in my case it tries to start and then just quits. MaxGo is doing the same.

I just tried using mine and it at first seems to work fine, in the menus. The weird thing is l get no video only audio while playing content.

I just did factory reset and hbogo is still NO JOY..(Bummer) also my carrier is Verizon not sure if that means anything.

Thanks to all the red tape involved, they competitors wind up blocking the IP from being able to resolve it. I live in one city during the week due to work and live in another on the weekend. I have Comcast at my main home on the weekends and got HBO there and have Charter at the other and even though I'm paying for it I can't even watch it on my laptop or phone if I'm logged in to my wifi and it gets hung in a weird loop when I try logging in on my phone on 4G. I JUST signed up for HBO this weekend and I'm about to cancel it since Comcast doesn't want to play nice with others!

Having the same issue on VZW G2 running stock. I sent the HBO Go Mobile team an email using the link on the Play Store. I'll post their response here.. if there is any.

I have also e-mailed HBOGO twice have not heard a word. Just cannot figure out why it will not work.. Working great on my Nexus 7
I love android been using it since the first moto was released. I must say though I'm really tired of things not working.
This is why I'm going back to Apple tablets when the new mini, (Retna) is released. My wife has the iPad 4 and you know what... Everything always work. Although will never leave android phones.. Sorry to Rant..

They did respond to my email and asked me to uninstall then reinstall the app. Didn't work. I let them know and am awaiting their reply.

I have att, and have WOW cable, and have zero issues with it, because to my dismay had to watch "Big Love" when taking someone to the hospital! Torture!

It did as of three weeks ago, checking now.....um ok I lied, it was working, now its only good for sound, no picture! CRAP!

I just installed it on my AT&T LG G2 variant to test. Confirmed not working on this version either. Plays sound but no video.

After some back and forth, HBO Go Mobile team told me that they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. Guess we just have to wait for an update.

Glad you were able to let them know, they have still not responded to my 2 emails.
I would really like to know why 4.3 is working but not 4.2 go figure.
