Hello,

Does anyone know of an HDMI out adaptor that can be used for this tablet. Those used for the Note do not work with this tab.

Thank you!

Janet

What do you need the HDMI output for? Have you considered a Chromecast?

Well basically just to use for apps or movie sites through the TV. I do have another tablet with an HDMI port so I can use it, but in the event that the tablet breaks I would like a backup. I could also use my laptop as well, but the tablet is easier.

I have not considered Chromecast because it does not support Amazon movies. I tried the Roku stick, but it did not work very well.

And one last note regarding Amazon, Amazon has not created an Android tablet video player for its streaming movies. It has created one for Android phones and all iPhones and iPads, but not Android tablets.

I use my Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 quite a bit in environments where I'm connected to HDTVs. I use the Samsung AllShare Cast Dongle. It's really easy to connect to HDTVs and acts as a tablet mirror (whatever I see on my tablet shows on the TV). It's a litttle pricey ($69-$99) if you buy it new but I baught a used one on Amazon for about $25 which included free shipping. I also use it for watching movies without problem.
