HDMI outlet?

Anyone tried the HDMI outlet yet? I've read the device requires a special adapter, is the adapter even available? I want to be able to mirror everything from the phone to a large screen, such as a television. Will the phone also be able to mirror to a Windows laptop via HDMI as well?

I bought it directly from Verizon online and they sent it out 2 day delivery. It is particular to the SIII, so the previous ones won't work.

It only worked in one of my three HDMI inputs on my Panasonic HDTV, but that could be the tv (although my Samsung Charge did not have this issue).

Everything works great, except Netflix resizes the screen to make it the old tv size - I don't know if it is my tv, Netflix, the adapter, or the phone, but I'm not happy about that.
