HDMI to TV to watch Netflix

I'd like a way to connect my Note9 to my work monitor for DeX so I can watch Netflix during lunch. It's a generic older style Monitor without HDMI. Any ideas?

My dad got a new LG TV (only 43", but 4K) and my Note 9 can use smart view on that when I tried it at his house. My blue ray is a Sony.

That's good to know , sorry for late reply but I get so much notifications hard to keep track

I've used an adapter and hate it. Since the phone's screen isn't the same size as a TV's screen you end up with wonky black bars.

Used TV remote and selected picture mode. √select screen to fit or even better
√wide fit.
Barely a black bar on the television.
But No problem whatever different strokes for different folks.
Honestly though it really isn't that bad. I just didn't need it no more.
But kept the cable for you know that rainy day.

Likely because most folks probably have wifi and don't need to.
