Headphones hiss

I have a Bionic on its way to me, so I have been reading up. One of the concerns I have is that I have seen folks mention a hissing noise comes from the headphone jack. Since my phone is my music player and car stereo I am a bit concerned. Has this issue been corrected? Thanks.

This problem was very annoying to me when I first got my Bionic. But it has been greatly reduced with software updates. I dont think it's completely gone, but it's reduced enough that I don't notice it any more.

The hiss is completely gone. Atleast i cant hear it at all anymore. The last update for this device made alot of owners happy campers, including myself.

the hiss is completely gone. we have two bionics in the family and I can attest that the update eliminated the very noticeable hiss that was present with the earlier OS version.
