Heart rate not working

Anyone having problems with the heart rate monitor? I got it too work a couple of times but generally it doesn't work. I see the green laser coming out of the holes. I can't make the band any tighter. I was actually thinking of adding a link. Kind of annoying although not something I really care about much since I would never work out with the watch on anyway.

It actually shouldn't be super tight against the wrist. Should just lay on your wrist.

Just got mine today and it works great.
Keeping still is important whenever getting an accurate reading.

I haven't gotten it to work in the last dozen attempts, so I think either my skin is impenetrable or it doesn't work. Oh well not an important feature for me.

It's fussy, but I have the best luck with the phone directly over my wrist.
