Heart rate sensor...

So, my heart rate sensor seems wildly inaccurate. I'm pretty sure my resting heart rate is not 100bpm.

Regardless, I'd really like to not use it. Is there a way to disable to heart rate sensor? Seems like it could be a battery hog.

I like the pedometer, but if I have to disable the two together, then I guess that's what I'll do...

I have been searching for an answer to this question as well. I don't care how many steps I take or what my heart rate is. I just want to save battery.

Maybe they'll give us some more granular control with a future update.

How tightly are you wearing the watch on your wrist? Maybe it's too tight it too lose resulting in the wrong reading. But yes, hopefully we get to turn that stuff in an update.

I've tried looser, can't really go tighter. Well, I probably could but it'd be uncomfortable. Also tried on the inside of the wrist. Managed to get one reading of 84 bpm, but could never replicate it. Also, still seems a bit high even for me.

Why don't you take your own heart rate on your wrist? Find your heart beat on your wrist with your pointing and middle fingers and then count it for 15 seconds. Then multiply that count by 4. I just took mine and it was 88. Moto 360 said 89. Pretty darn close.

It just read at 85. Much more reasonable. Seems like it took a day or two to start reading more accurately. The first day and a half was consistently 100 bpm resting.
