Hello and facebook

Hello Android world....

I'm new to the forums and to Android (so go easy on me). I had a question about FB and really couldn't find a solution in the search.

I can't get any notifications to my Inspire. I get PM but no wall posts, comments, likes.... etc. I changed my FB settings to allow "facebook for HTC" but nothing...

under my accounts, I have a "facebook" acct and a "facebook for HTC". Are the 2 battling it out for push notifications or am I doing something else wrong? Or, are push notifications like comments and wall posts not possible on android?

I'm having the same issue, and I don't get how there is two apps, I see facebook for HTC sense in the account sync screen only, I don't see the actual app.. I downloaded facebook when I got the phone because I didnt like friend stream very much.. I am only getting notifications when somebody chats with me.

Facebook on android is broken and always has been as far as I know. Notifications just don't work.

Maybe try the 'email notification' option...
