Hello Android Central!

Hey all!

I (like others that have posted recently) am coming to you all from the blackberry world. I'm with Verizon and currently have an (ancient) Blackberry Storm 2. I've been available for an upgrade since October 2011, and tried to wait for BB10, but as some of you may know, it has been delayed yet again! I'll save my rant and just say I'm ready for something new! I automatically thought of the SIII and have been browsing forums about it. After reading about SIII vs Nexus, I'm not 100% sure. Granted, either of these phones will be a HUGE upgrade for me. I'm just wondering if there are any former Blackberry users that could comment on any benefits of the Nexus with 4.1 update over the SIII?

I don't have a Nexus or a GS3 so I can't comment on that, but welcome to Android Central

I love my GNex, mainly because of 4.0, and many (on here at least) already have 4.1. I like the pure Android experience so far. The GS III will get 4.1, sooner or later. The hardware looks great, but I haven't experienced the latest Touchwhiz, so that's up to you. Good luck and welcome!
