hello everyone i have couple of questions. ive had my e4gt for about 3 months now and finally i decided too root my phone i use the zedomax videos on youtube to guide me and i rooted my phone. but i have a couple of issues. my phone turns on and off randomly by it self and it sometimes looses the signal out of no were. im using the blu kuban ROM and im running android version 4.0.3 the baseband is S:D710.10 S.EL29 Kernel version is 3.0.15-SPH-D710.FD02-CL336391se.infra@SEP-76 #3 Build Number is RUJELUS22 The Blu Kuban FD24 1.0.3.2 dont know if those numbers help but i dont know if i missed a step or what. but it seems like my phone is not running as good as the guys in the video. this is my first root and just learning so im hoping some one can help me or point me to the right direction.

Did you download his latest from his Rujelus' thread on XDA? His rom version is currently 1.0.3.5 (pretty sure) and I know for a fact it is android 4.0.4 because it's based off of FE10. Also, the kernel included with it is now FD26. All of this leads me to believe you downloaded an older version of his rom. I'd suggest going to xda and flashing the newest version. If you have any questions about how to flash it safely, just ask away and I'll get back to you when I can. I would use mobile odin to flash the el26 cwm kernel, flash calkulins format all, and then flash the blu kuban. Good luck

Edit: oops, I'm an idiot :p I didn't see you included the rom version. So just ignore everything besides downloading the new rom and following what I said to flash it. Sorry about that, I'm tired and haven't slept yet even though it's 5am

Also, don't ever restore any data on ics roms, it can cause lots of problems. It's really just not worth the hassle.

Which way did you flash 1.0.3.5? Did you do a complete wipe before you installed it? If not that could perhaps be the cause of the WiFi issues.

To flash with mobile odin install the lite version from XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19375402

Then install the specific flash kernel for our phone (SPH D710) from the 6th post in that thread.

Then you would open mobile odin and hit open file and select the el26 cwm kernel. Here's the kernel: http://db.tt/jUNENJGl

ok kool so i do all this through the phone or do i do it from a regular computer. sorry if im asking to much i just dont want to mess my phone up lol. thanks again for all you help

well i did evrything you said but when i got to look for the kernel el26 cwm i cant find it and i know were i put it but when i downloaded it just looks like a white sheet of paper so i dont know if is not downloading right.

You need to flash the El26 Kernal with cwm recovery with a program called Odin on a PC. This will get you root access and allow you to install a custom ROM afterwards.

Do you have access to a PC or Mac? The programs are different depending on your OS.

Edit:
Sorry, I didn't read the entire thread before posting. I would suggest doing a factory reset and re-set the device settings. You can do this from the device menu options or through recovery. I would suggest the device menu for starters.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you that once you flash the el26 kernel you can only boot into recovery and not into the rom because the rom is ics. You have to have an ics kernel to run an ics rom. The el26 cwm kernel is the safest to flash ics roms with. Also, the 4G hot reboots are a problem with the kernel I believe in ics. It's been worked on and is getting a lot better than at the beginning apparently, but I can't say from personal experience because I don't normally have 4G.
