Greetings from MN. I've been an iPhone guy since the first one. Just decided to try a Samsung S9, sick of the iPhone being the same basic thing since day one. I like to tinker with customizing and such, without having to jailbreak. Wife isn't very happy since the whole family is Apple.

From your phone visit the Samsung app store, called Galaxy apps, see screenshots of my Note 9, there you'll find many themes you can use to customize your phone.
You can also download Nova launcher from the Play Store to customize your phone even further.
Check the forums to learn more about your new phone and let us know how you like it or what you don't like about it.

Yeah, it can be painful when the rest of the people you interact with are iFans (especially with iMessage... they go nuts if they see a green bubble haha), but it's not the end of the world.
