Hello, i have a question concerning an update.

So, a few weeks ago i received a notification for an update from samsung. The build number associated with the update does not match the build number of my s9+. I keep putting it off by clicking "later" every time it pops up, which is daily. I'm not sure what would happen if i just ran the update. I'm afraid it would mess with what is a swimmingly functioning phone, as sometimes updates tend to do. Please offer me some advice in this matter. Thank you.

Every update has a different build number, that's how they're differentiated. If your device was served the update you can be 99.99% sure it was the right one for that device.
