Hello 'I just updated to Oneui 6.1 and the icons at the top of the screen vanished. Anyone have any insight as to how I get these icons back. The missing icons are cell connection and wifi connection icons. I have attached some pics for better understanding of the problem Thanks for any insight. My phone is a s21 ultra.

Welcome to AC!
Do you use Samsung good lock or 3rd party launcher?
Hey there Mustang thanks for the welcome. I did use Goodlock but I got rid of it trying to fix the no icons. It did nothing to fix that. It's odd because if I swipe down from the top all of those icons are there but when you go back to the home screen they are missing. I have went through setting after setting and see no recourse. Goodlock was installed when the phone updated though if that matters?

It would be Quickstar in Good Lock where those icons are configured to show or not.

Should I reinstall Goodlock and quickstar? Before I deleted Goodlock I went in there and tried messing about and could not get the icons back on the home screen. I will say this when quickstar was installed I had the option set to turn off the time at the top left of the screen. Tnak you for the reply it is appreciated.

Thanks Laura I tried that and the wifi icon showed very briefly and it's back to nothing on the home screen again except a number display of the battery % in the right top corner.

Just wanna add this bit of info. I'm in the quickstar app now and if I turn icons on or off they do indeed disappear or reappear while in the app. But as soon as you go back to the home screen there is nothing displayed but the battery %. Not sure if relevant but thought I would add anyways.

I think I may have figured it out. The live wallpaper I was using is doing something odd. When it is on there is no icons a t the top but if I reset my home theme it fixes the missing icons but I can't use the wallpaper now. That is goofy thing to happen. It worked fine before the 6.1 update. Kinda bums me out I loved that wallpaper.

It was a livewallpaper I had downloaded called Galaxy live wallpaper from the play store. When that is enabled it almost looks like a theme is on with it the battery percentage color changes to black. When I reset the home them everything is back to white. It worked before the update. I guess this would be on the author of the live wallpaper to update it maybe?

Hey Mustang I just looked at the info of the app and the copyright belongs to Kisoft. I think the name is [Kisoft live wallpapers - Galaxy live wallpaper] on the Playstore app. I purchased it for I believe $1.99. You can kinda see it in my first pic if you zoom on the pic. It's a swirling galaxy. Still hit the members app though maybe?
