Help Alternate root methods LS670ZV9

Hello,
I 'm on LS670ZV9. I've tried searching but have come up with conflicting answers. I've tried gingersnap, which did not work and have downloaded and have z4root ready if that is the resolution.

Will http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg...d-gingerbreak-no-reverting-ota-works-too.html work on zv9?

If someone could link me to the correct thread I should be looking at to root, or if it would be better for me to run an OTA update then root it would be very appreciated.

Honestly you should just do the OTA update then root that. There will be one for LS670ZVC and then another for ZVD. Plus all of the newer, more updated and supported ROMs require ZVD.

If i keep having this problem I assume I should use the manual gingerbreak method?

If i restart the phone without finishing a manual root tonight, will it be hazardous?

Yea gingersnap you have to try several times before it works.
