I just got a Nexus 4 a few days ago. I added a bunch of music to my phone. Problem is, 1/2 the songs don't show up in the "play music" lists. I thought at first maybe they didn't actually transfer but when I look at the music files on my phone when hooked up to my computer they are listed. Can't find the songs anywhere on my phone though. Any tips on how to get the songs to show up so I can actually listen to them?? Thanks!

Download a file managing app. If you have the music then it should appear in some folder when you dig in. I know some of my music didn't appear on play music until I found it inside a folder and opened it up. It was like play music was saying "Oh! There's music there!". I hope the app helps!

Oh and if that doesn't make it show up on play music try moving the music to the music folder. If all fails, I'm gonna guess some of the music is in an unreadable format and needs to be converted. Good luck!
