HELP... Cant Send or Receive Text Messages

Hello all, I need some help on how to figure out a problem I have. I recently bought a new Unlocked G7 Thinq, and am using it with Straight Talk, with their Bring Your Own Phone CDMA Sim kit and the $55 Unlimited Plan. It works excellent when you are in an area that has Mobile Service, but im visiting my girlfriends parents in rural Virginia, there is no Movile Service at all, so they have WiFi. When connected to the WiFi, i cant Send or Receive Text messages at all, be it SMS or MMS. Everything else works fine, the Internet, Email Notifications, App Notifications and so on.... The only problem is the Text Messaging problems. This is using the factory installed Messages, which i assune is Google, but ive also downloaded and tried Textra and the Verizon Messages, and all do the same thing, the message just says "sending" no matter how long you wait, it never sends. How can I fix this problem? Any Help would be appreciated... Thank You

Forgot to add above that my old Galaxy Note 4 worked fine when connecting to the same WiFi... I could send and receive SMS Texts like I normally would, but my new G7 Thinq will not. Ive uninstalled the messages+ app, cleared the cache partition, and rebooted the phone and reinstalled messages+, and it still does the exact same.

You might try the instructions at this page, but if that doesn't work, the G7 just can't do texts via wifi.

Thank You for the help Rukbat, but unfortunately, since my G7 Thinq is an Unlocked version, it doesn't support WIFI Calling, the only option under the "Advanced Calling" setting is to turn On/Off HD Voice.

It is very common for the carriers to not allow wifi-calling on unlocked phones.
