Help! Cracked screen.

I remember reading on here when ppl saying how they cracked their screen - fell harder before and it was ok. Today I dropped it, not bad, and it cracked.
I got it on Mother's Day, been in search of decent case, and I drop it tonight.
I'm with AT&T, and I have insurance. Or would it be better to get the screen fixed.
So effin pissed right now! DON'T get anything Caseology, or Supcase. Their more for looks, NOT PROTECTION!

I would use your insurance if you can. Going to a 3rd party to repair could be cheaper but could also present additional problems if they don't repair it properly.

Ditto. Another concern would be the water resistance. I don't think a third party replacement of the screen would hold up, unless Samsung (or an authorized retailer) did the replacement themselves.

Getting the screen replaced by a 3rd party will also void the warranty.

We picked it up at Wal-Mart. Comes in a tin case. Fairly easy to use.
Hubby got me a new one to put on tonight. I think it's well worth the $20!

Yeah I had a Caseology case on. Came off when I dropped it. When I put the screen protector on I wait 12 hours before putting my case on. I usually do it right before going to bed.
I'm putting on my Speck case this time!

Do you notice any loss of touch sensitivity, or any "clicking" between the protector and the actual screen when you press on it?

At first no, but the clicking started with the new screen protector, and since then have taken it off. Bummed too, cause I know for a fact that first protector saved my screen!
