HELP! Demo Mode?

I recently received a replacement Moto360 for my bad one I sent in. This is WORSE now. The watch comes up where you pick your language and then the next screen tells me to download and install android wear on my phone. From here I have NO way to do anything else. Nothing works except I can manage to get to settings screen but only options are to restart, power off or reset. Doing a reset only manages to get me back in the same hopeless loop. There have been indications I am in some kind of retail mode but I can't escape. This watch and MOTO are a breath away from finding the dark corner of my drawer. :-\

I would suggest sending it back for another. If device was sent to you as a replacement like this, then there should not be a reason why you can't have it replaced. Hopefully that's a quick process.
 
It's another 5 business days. I could send it back but this is just beyond ridiculous that they would send it to me like that
