Help! Dropped calls when trying to call.

As of yesterday I have been having a really difficult time making a phone call. My phone keeps saying 'preparing sim card' or 'lost call' I've tried restarting but I still have this issue. I'll be able to make the calls eventually but this is becoming a problem. What should I do?

Wow sorry for the repost. Just saw a few threads down that this is a ongoing issue with a lot of owners. I really can't afford to have this problem. I'll be returning it in exchange for an S5 if they can't fix it(Bought it less than 2 weeks ago. Costco has a 30 day thing).

Take it back and exchange it. My grandfather and I both got m8s but his unfortunately can't make or receive calls. Even after a number of resets. He got one with a faulty antenna.

There may be a few ones with falutly parts.

Have you tried taking the Sim out and putting it back in? Or getting a new Sim?
