Help! Galaxy Nexus Randomly Plays Audio On its Own

Having issue with my GSM GNex. The phone will randomly begin playing music from my Google Music or Podcasts through Listen or Doggcatcher.

There is no pattern to when it will happen. I does however happen more often after a phone call, when the call ends the phone just starts blasting audio away. and if i press any of the command buttons at the bottom of the phone they are magically turned into audio controls buttons so they are skipping to the next track or rewinding.

The only resolution I can do is power the phone off and back on and wait till the next time it happens. Even going into setting and Force Stopping Play Music or Listen won't stop the madness.

At this time I've uninstalled any podcatcher and disabled Google Music sync, so now my device has no audio - but this is frustrating when I want to listen to audio in the car!!!

Any help here?

Look at the settings of whatever app starts playing the music, it will have options for that sort of behavior, even if its being triggered incorrectly. Its possible having those options on multiple apps might be interfering and its also possible you paused the playing at some stage and you have set resume after call ends etc. That should be reported as a bug if so as if it didn't pause it then it shouldn't resume it either.
