HELP!!! Galaxy Nexus Screen broke.

I broke the screen on my phone and cant see anything!!! how do i transfer the data to my computer before sending phone in??? Someone please help!!!

Plug it into your computer. If it is only the screen you will be able to transfer data. I broke my screen and that is how I transferred data.

yeap like Shiny Top said - plug it into your computer via USB then open the phone just like you would open the C: Drive or any other folder.

You computer will probably prompt you and ask what you would like to do with the device. Select Open Folder to View files... then copy everything you want to save over to a new folder located on your computer, not the phone.

If you have a Mac make sure to download Android File Transfer. It might not hurt to sacrifice a chicken either, b/c I'm fully convinced that the AFT app is possessed.

I hope you didn't have fast charge enabled. How would you turn that off in order to read your files if you can't turn on the screen?

Using terminal commands? Could also do a complete wipe with new rom and kernel, but you'd lose app data.
