I recently just switched over from the iPhone 4s to the Samsung Galaxy s4 and so far I LOVE it. The only thing I am NOT loving is the fact that when I plug in my phone to the USB cable in my car (2012 Chevrolet Equinox) it will start to play the music and then about 17 seconds into the song it stops and that is it. So if anyone has any ideas of what I could possibly do to help this issue I would GREATLY appreciate it. I bought an Aux cable and it works but the sound quality is horrible. ;( So I did find that "fix" but compared to the ease that I had plugging my iPhone up to my car and it just automatically playing my downloaded music it isn't a fix at all. I also saw something on a forum I saw about using Bluetooth. But when I try to play music through Bluetooth it says it can't find any devices, even though my Galaxy is paired with my car because I can make and receive phone calls though my car with Bluetooth. So please, any and all suggestions greatly welcomed and appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!:(

I will unpair and then pair again using bluetooth. Make sure that your car radio is setup for "call audio" and "media audio". This will be under the Bluetooth setting on your phone.
I have a SII Skyrocket, SIII, SIV, and Galaxy Note II. All play audio using Bluetooth flawlessly. The iPhone 5, I connect that sucker using the USB.

Go to Settings, Connections, Bluetooth, and then ON bluetooth. If you have paired with your car, you will find that just under your device name in second row. Click on the Settings button on the right side of it, and then under PROFILES, uncheck the two options i.e., Call audio, and Media audio.
This should work. Hopefully... I struggled a bit and got it to work with my car.
