My phone was at 10% battery and I accidentally put my s4 on a bowl of soap, and i cleaned it and open to back to clean too. After awhile when it become 1% battery something keeps poping out to tell me to charge it. It never happened like this before because it was doing it every second. I tried to charge, but nothing happened. So I open the back and OMG I saw soap! I remembered i completely clean it up! I was so scared I off the phone.. I don't know what to do I put it a ziplock with rice and I Don't know if it will work or not because it is soap and not water! Please help

but seriously, the bag of rice would be my only solution, you can buy phones pretty cheaply off of ebay or craigslist though

Yup Rice is going to be your only option to try to save your phone. it seems odd that someone would keep a bowl of soap though

..... How can rice save my phone :\ I'm f*ed up :( Should I buy new batteries?

Also bathe the opened phone and battery in rubbing alcohol to try to dissolve the corrosive substances. Unfortunately you'll probably have to replace the whole phone and battery.

I took out from the rice bag I can on the phone now. But it is 0 batteries. When I charge it the phone suddenlt power off and show it the loading battery and the picture while charging.. So, I think it's something about the battery, because when the soap was on the phone, it was only the bottom part. I think it affected the charging hole or wut ._., the battery but not sure about the speaker
