help, i lost my home screen clock

I'm not sure what i did, but probably accidentally touched the screen in the wrong place, but now my Home screen no longer shows the clock and date box, all i have is a blank wall paper area above the above the gray google mic search bar.
How do i get it back? i can't seem to find an option anywhere

Hold down the blank screen area until 3 options come up at the bottom. Click widgets. Then swipe till you find the clock widget you want
