kk so i was trying to flash a rom for the first time and i really went at it the wrong way. i didin't backup my original RUU and now my device just keep on booting past the google screen, then at the language selection screen it just keep on restarting. i can get into the bootloader here's what it says:
***tampered***
***unlocked***

m7_ul pvt ship s-on rh
hboot-1,55,0000
radio-4a.20.3263.16
opendsp -v32,120.274.0909
os-
emmc-boot 2048mb

i try looking for another ruu to flash in my phone but i cant seem to find one that works with my phone..even when i try using the flashboot getvar command to check for the version this is all i got.. : C:\Users\david\Desktop\sdk-tools>fastboot getvar version-main
version-main:
finished. total time: 0.001s

any help at this point would be greatly appreciated i need to get my phone up working so i can receive my calls

First, I think by RUU you mean Rom. Rom and RUU are two totally different things. Second, Idk why you are using the getvar command. Third, since you are s-on, you need to flash the boot image of the Rom manually or else you'll get a boot problem. Don't worry, you can get out of this :p. Lets assume you Flashed the Rom you want in recovery already:

Step 1. Boot into fastboot mode. In the bootloader menu, select an option that says fastboot. It should say fastboot in red texta after you select the option. This is fastboot mode.

Step 2. Connect to pc and wait until the red text on the screen of the phone changes to fastboot usb.

Step 3. Open the folder where you have fastboot on your computer. In this case, it seems you have sdk tools, so open that up.

Step 4. You should still have the Rom you flashed on your pc. Make sure it is the same one. Open the zip. There should be a file in there called boot.img. copy that file, and paste it inside the sdk tools folder. Remember, make sure that it is the SAME Rom you flashed in recovery.

Step 5. Take the directory of the sdk tools folder and copy it. So yours would be C:\Users\david\Desktop\sdk-tools>

Step 6. Open up cmd.

Step 7. Type "cd + directory"

So yours would be "cd C:\Users\david\Desktop\sdk-tools>"

Step 8. You should be in fastboot and have it plugged in and ready to go. Also, the boot.img file should be inside the sdk tools folder.

Type "fastboot flash boot boot.img"

And let it flash successfully.

Once flashed, reboot and I think that should get you past the boot screen.

thank you for your reply
ive followed these instructions thoroughly, but it keeps on rebooting right after the google logo at the language screen selection (bigxie_m7_GPe_KRT16S_odexed-signed.zip) being the rom that i tried to install.

edit: i manage to have my device unlocked again..but im not sure if that matter anymore should i have it locked or unlock ?

edit 2:i tried using cwm..and for some reason when i do clear dalvik cache and then reboot, theres a window that appear on startup right after google logo that says "updating apps" but as soon as its over the phone restarts over again

flash the boot.img after flashing the rom. This happened to me when converting to the GPE also.

One thing to remember on all Android phones , if you can get to the bootloader in any fashion, THEN YOU ARE NOT BRICKED.Maybe a soft brick but thats recoverable if done right. The only way that I have read to recover from a hard bricked phone is to send it in to J-tag it. A soft brick one can recover with a RUU, a back up or just reflashing the rom in some cases or I have any way.
In the future, XDA is the best place to find a solution to a problem, but unlike here the senior members there will tell you (not show you) to SEARCH first then ask and possibly tell you to search again its there somewhere. http://forum.xda-developers.com/

Look "HERE" It is another good link to have bookmarked
Also get your cid from the phone and search for a RUU that is compatible with the cid
