No more carousel. Don't miss it. There will be suggestions of the Nova Launcher. Resist.
Oh no, I hope they bring it back.
I prefer TW so I will have to live with it for now.
Just got my phone today and am trying to get it set up just right.
Still getting use to Lollipop.
Oh, the lock screen doesn't require a fingerprint when you are on wifi at home right?
Seems like the lock doesn't always come on.
Why should he resist? Just because you don't like Nova doesn't mean other people can't find its features useful. You really think no one should get a choice? No more carousel. Don't miss it. There will be suggestions of the Nova Launcher. Resist.

If I was trying to shut you down I would have said that you're wrong. I was just curious why you thought he should resist. I actually still haven't switched from the Touchwiz launcher to Nova like I normally do. But if there are features that someone really wants then I think it's best they at least try it out. Also, I'm pretty sure I've barely quoted you. I've seen many more people who have actually tried to shut you down. Just my 2 cents.Everyone has a choice just like everyone can have their own opinion in answer to a post. A dialogue usually takes two or more people whose views don't always align but are mutually respect. Some people can read between the lines and don't take things literally. Why is it when there is disagreement, you can't resist trying to shut me down? Didn't say I didn't like Nova. Find the post where I actually used those words exactly. My point reading between the lines is not to have preconceived opinions and keep an open mind to see if this latest iteration of TouchWiz workers for you. If not, get any third party launcher that works best for you.

It's all good. I guess we both just misunderstood a little. I thought you were serious.Fair enough. Guess I got a little overly sensitive with the level of intolerance and respect when it comes to expressing ones opinion in response to a reply post or a direct question. To clarify, the resist comment was meant in jest only.
Nova does have a lot more features, but I've really found myself enjoying the Touchwiz launcher this time around. This is the longest I've stuck with a launcher other than Nova. And that's a funny straight jacket reference lol, you a psychiatrist?I tried TW, I tried Nova. It wasn't even close. Nova is so much better and more flexible it's hard to imagine anyone wanting to stay with TW (even this 'slimmed down' version). But I guess everyone's entitled to their opinion and choice. That is, after all, what makes Android the OS of choice. If you like straight jackets, crapple has a bunch ready and waiting for the unsuspecting sheeple.

I use to be able to scroll between all home pages in either direction on my S4 & S5 and even my Current Note 4 but I can't seem to figure out how to do that on the S6.
Is it just me or is this option not there anymore?
Ah ok, cool!Clinical psychologist.![]()
Yeah, I feel like Samsung went overboard with taking stuff out. But people have been complaining and complaining about all of the features so I guess they figured no one used them. For other Samsung phones, disabling Flipboard is usually the trick. That said, even that doesn't help if you are on VZ since VZ apparently set Cscfeature_Launcher_DisabledPageRotation to true, which prevents the pages from "wrapping around" when paging through them.
Wrap-around scrolling seems to be screwed on the S6 for all carriers for some bizarre reason. I assume it is still the same setting, but you would need to root your phone to change it. That's unfortunate since it's really the only thing that annoys me about the TouchWiz launcher. I don't need custom icons and other bells and whistles. I just want to be able to quickly access what I have on those pages...and not being able to loop the pages is a PITA.
I love my new Note 4, but I continue to find OS features that Samsung has removed or changed in a way that represent a step backwards from my old S3.

I have your answer about scrolling through home screens continuously. Press and hold any blank spot on any screen. Choose "home screen settings". Next screen choose "3D Rotation". Un-check "Flipboard Briefings". Make sure you have disabled "My Magazine" first. Now you should be able to scroll all the way around in either direction.

The option of 'Smart Scroll' has been removed.
BUT I accidentally accomplished getting this working on my S5!?
What I did:
1) Pinched with two fingers on the home screen and opened 'Home Screen Settings' -> Disabled 'Flipboard Briefing' there
2) I had five home screens and moved the default home screen to the middle.
Voila. Now the screens scroll around and round to both directions
It might be that the only thing needed is disabling the 'Flipboard Briefing'...
