So I noticed this morning that my phone was stuck on 1G and I am in a 4G area. So I did the ##778# trick and when my phone came back on it was in Airplane Mode. I checked the setting and the box to turn on Auto Airplane on reboot was checked. So I unchecked the box and restarted the phone, but it is still stuck. I tried to go back and change the modem settings using the ##778# trick to the original settings, but still not luck. I have even done a battery pull. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? Thanks.

Yes, that is correct and the Auto Airplane Mode box that says "Start on Boot" is not checked.

Are you using an app that enables auto-airplane mode? Maybe try uninstalling it if possible.

Yes, I believe that Timeriffic does. The problem is I don't know how to uninstall it without going to the Marketplace, which doesn't work in Airplane Mode.

You should be able to get to it by going to Settings-Applications-Manage Applications, select the app and hit uninstall.

Well I just got off the phone with Verizon. They had me hit the power button and then push the airplane mode button. That finally turned it off. Thanks everyone for your advice!
